Bishop Loverde Dedicates New Priest Retirement Villa

By: Caitlin Forst, Office of Communications

On Friday, August 6, Bishop Loverde dedicated the Saint Rose of Lima Retirement Villa, which is  adjacent to Saint Michael Church, Annandale. Previously, retired priests in the Diocese of Arlington had the option to either live in a private residence or in a parish rectory. The Retirement Villa offers the third option of living in one of eight suites, each of which include a living room, bedroom, bath and kitchenette.

The Retirement Villa is the result of the generosity of several donors, including those who contributed to the Rooted in Faith – Forward in Hope Capital Campaign.

  1. I am a direct care professional and I want to know if my services would be needed here. I am a catholic and a member of the St. Louis catholic church in Alexandria.
I would be glad to hear from you.
    Thanks,
    Dominic
