From Arlington to Triangle

We’ve been out filming around the diocese again, this time at Saint Ann, Arlington, and Saint Francis of Assisi, Triangle. Through these trips, we’ve learned a lot about the community at each parish and what makes them unique.

At Saint Ann, Fr. Greenhalgh explains the many attributes of his parish, particularly calling St. Ann a parish “driven by volunteerism.” Parishioners volunteer in projects ranging from helping the homeless to assisting at nursing homes.

Further south, St. Francis of Assisi in Triangle was originally founded to serve the military community around Quantico. The Franciscan Friars who have served at the parish since its beginning find that military families are quick to become involved in parish life.
