As members of the Diocese of Arlington gather around our respective tables for Thanksgiving dinner today, a blessing that comes to mind is that of the priests, parishes and parishioners in our diocesan Church. This vibrant parish life is illustrated in the parish profile videos:
St. Joseph in Alexandria, has a unique history distinguishing it from any other parish in the diocese. It was founded with a donation directly from a saint! Listen to Fr. Francis Hull describe how the church was built in the early 1900s.
St. Andrew in Clifton, built partly in response to the influx of residents that came to the area when Exxon Mobile’s headquarters moved to Fairfax, is a warm and welcoming community. Pastor Fr. John Kelly praises the family atmosphere and the giving spirit of the parish.
