Yesterday, we watched as the Vicar of Christ stepped foot on American soil, and that, for the first time in his life.

Today, still, Pope Francis will perform the first ever canonization on American soil.

It is an exciting time of monumental importance. The U.S. is witnessing many pivotal events. We’ve highlighted a select few of yesterday’s to serve as a recap below.
